Joint programs
Learning Scoop has had the joy of providing joint programs for university students with several universities. We have been privileged to work with the Duquesne University (USA), SUNY Oneonta (USA) and the University of Tokyo (Japan) in joint programs. We have also hosted teacher students from the Education University of Hong Kong.
Most of the students participating in our joint programs have been studying education and aiming for teachers’ profession. The joint programs have included university courses by Finnish lecturers, school visits and job shadowing with Finnish teachers, various cultural experiences with Finnish university students, in Finnish nature and sauna etc.

Between the school visits and the countless hours of exploring the cities, we are learning so much about the culture here in Finland, their ways of life, and most importantly, about their success in education. I have loved this opportunity to learn more strategies as a future teacher.
We started to do this research, because we believed with this too traditional system that we have in Iran our children are not enjoying their school time as much as they potentially could. This research is going to study the most powerful and practical educational system of the planet, FINLAND’S. Which leads their students in depth of real life with care and between the years of school, they provide a beautiful space of study for children to be into. Finland was an example of how we can make an ideal society out of a true, standard educational system.
