These are the days

July means holiday month in Finland. Like we tend to say “the whole country is closed“. Kids are enjoying the longest as schools are closed for over 2 months in a row. Time to recharge the batteries and relax the way one feels most convenient for him or her. We at Learning Scoop are serving our customers throughout the summer as we take turns. We all love to travel also during vacations and lately we have been fortunate to see the world either on business or family trips to China, Spain, Austria, Italy, Mongolia..

During the spring we have designed may fascinating new training products and services to meet the needs of our global customers around the world, such as eLearning material, online trainings, mobile application, webshop and also publications are on their way. So many new things to look forward right after the summer break! The level of inspiration is high and sometimes it is hard to stop as one gets so fascinated about own work. The autum season will be started with workshops and visits abroad. Private and general Study Tours will take place from August onwards, some free seats available for August General Education Study Tour! The upcoming study tour dates have been published for next year, too.  If you are still pondering why to join the educational tour, one of our study tour participant is giving her personal view about it:

“I am specialist in Lifelong learning policies at the national, European and international levels and recently, I obtained a grant from the European Union in the program Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. During this mobility in Finland, I had the enormous opportunity to attend a study visit focused on early childhood education and care organised by Learning Scoop in Tampere, Finland.

Why I strongly recommend this Study Tour?

What I appreciated very much was the combination between visits in schools or kindergartens and theoretical debates. This experience was completed by plenty of playful activities and games which we can use during pedagogical activities with children. Moreover, the expertise of trainers and the variety of attendees from different continents was one of the precious gains of this training. In addition, beyond the researcher’s cap, for one week, I fell myself children again. If specialists from all around the world speak about Finnish excellence in education, I advise you to choose Learning Scoop to experience to live the “miracle of Finnish education!”
